Proposed Re-structuring of the Junior Section
As many of you will probably be aware, David Jones has recently stepped down as the Chairman/Secretary of the Junior Football Section. This has obviously left a void in those roles which are currently being covered temporarily.
Moving forward, and in time for next season, the club is looking to re-structure how the junior section is run and in doing this, the club is looking to elect a new committee. The ideal scenario would be for the parents/guardians/supporters to take on some of these roles, as opposed to the Managers (who should be focusing on the football side of things).
To do this, the current Junior committee have drafted a letter to ALL parents etc (this can be downloaded from the top of this page) which adequately reflects the changes and our position. The final section of this letter includes a 'role profile' for each role, so that people have a clearer understanding of the various roles on the new committee.
Ideally, the club would like the new committee to be in place as soon as possible and certainly in place before the end of the current season (to start to focus on the start of the 2010/11 season).
